between the 'Red' Submariner and Double Red Sea-Dweller were the thicker case, the helium escape valve, the Sea-Dweller text on the dial, and the domed crystal without the Cyclops date lens. The nickname "Double Red" comes from the two-lines of red text on the dial reading “Sea-Dweller / Submariner 2000.” What makes this watch so unique is the ‘Submariner 2000’ wording itself. It was featured on all the Double Red Sea Dweller dial variants, but since the production ended, the Sea-Dweller never bore the same 2nd line of red text ever again. In fact, no other Rolex watch ever bore a double red text ever since, which is what makes this model so special.

This Pre-owned vintage Rolex "Double Red" Sea-Dweller 40mm with steel case, black dial, aluminium bezel and steel oyster bracelet is in good condition. While the movement in this Rolex watch is genuine, it seems to have an incorrect caliber. It is equipped with caliber 3035 instead of the expected caliber 1575. The year 1976 is determined by the serial number starting "430".
