Concord started in 1908 when five watch collaborators from Biel/Bienne Switzerland created the concept. For just over 60 years, they dominated luxury watchmaking until the 1970 quartz crises forced them to remodel. Surviving the hardships of the 1970s thanks to their development of the Concord Delirium, it was later named the World Thinnest Watch , and Concord returned as the leader of Swiss watches. The Saratoga’s signature feature is the CONCORD engraved name on the crown of the dial. There is also more emphasis on time with bold Roman Numerals, a date window, and metal-plated hour and minute hands.
