Kurono Tokyo is a subsidiary brand led by Hajime Asaoka.  The brand was born out of Asaoka’s desire to deliver his watches to a broader audience at a more affordable price point.   The Kurono Seji was launched as a limited 500-piece originally targeting female collectors.  However, after some PR backlash the model was made available all.  Cased in their iconic 37mm size, the dial has a beautiful celadon-like blue green lacquer finish and is an overall great fit.  So if you have been following Kurono Tokyo since their launch in 2019 but have been unlucky with their ballots, here’s your opportunity!
