This is probably the earliest example of the Spring Drive technology that we have seen come through the Auction. It takes a traditional mechanical movement and combines it with the an electronic regulator to deliver a level of precision that a traditional mechanical watch cannot match. The process started in 1977 and took 28 years and around 600 prototypes before the Spring Drive was born in 1999. The result is hands that run smoothly like a quartz watch, but silent like a mechanical!

This Pre-Owned Seiko Spring Drive GMT 43mm with steel case & bezel, silver white dial and steel bracelet is in very good condition. Mechanised by Spring Drive Technology 5R66 automatic movement. The watch bracelet comes with 16 links. Includes box and Seiko sales warranty dated April 2010.
