Chopard Mille Miglia Gran Turismo-16/8995 Chopard has been manufacturing timepieces since 1860. After being in the Chopard family for three generations, the company was acquired in 1963 by the Scheufele family, whose hands-on ownership had transformed the prestigious brand. Chopard is a long-time sponsor of the Italian road-race, the Mille Miglia. Each participant receives an individually engraved timepiece from the Mille Miglia line. This particular model was released in 2001 and is limited to 250 pieces.

Tag Heuer Carrera x Porsche Limited Edition-CBN2016.EB0275 To mark the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7, Tag Heuer unveiled a special limited edition collection in continuation of its partnership with Porsche. This is the first time they have shared a naming convention (Carrera) in a release! Two editions were unveiled, a steel edition (limited to 500 pieces) in blue and a red edition in rose gold (limited to 250 pieces). The colors chosen are drawn from the two iconic colors that were used for the RS 2.7, blue and red (only 1,500 cars ever produced). On the dial and engraved into the case are the words ‘Carrera’, but instead of the standard print we typically see on the watch, we see the recognizable typeface of the Porsche Carrera. If you’re a gearhead then this limited edition collaboration will be right up your alley!

Meistersinger Perigraph-AM1003 This is not something you see everyday! A mechanical watch with no second or minute hand, only one long and thin hour hand runs on the dial to tell the time! The inspiration behind this comes from several centuries ago when many pocket watches just had one hand to indicate the time. The striking feature of the Meistersinger is the carefully thought-out design of the indexes on the dial that allow you to tell the time. These indices, along with the hour-hand, produce an intuitive way to read the time with an accuracy of +/- 2 minutes or better. For the date, a red pointer at 12 indicates the date, as a ring turns around the dial in 31 days. The brand was born out of Asaoka’s desire to deliver his watches to a broader audience at a more affordable price point. Hajime initially made four prototypes for himself, the majority of his friends wanted one after seeing them, so Hajime decided to release 80 pieces in four different colours. Bell & Ross BR 05-BR05A-BL-ST/SST The BR 05 was added to the Bell & Ross product line in 2019 and got immediate attention with its soft lines and integrated bracelet option, it is even more attractive in person. The casework and execution of the bracelet is very good indeed, and if the BR05 steel watches do not rise quite to the quality of, say, a Royal Oak, the price doesn't rise to that level either. Overall, the BR05 collection is not only like a solid addition to the Bell & Ross collections, but also an interesting, and attractively priced alternative to some of the much more expensive entries in this rapidly enlarging category of watches.

Cartier Santos Dumont XL Middle East Limited Edition-WGSA0060 Cartier have a long and storied history of quietly creating limited unique variants for particularly loyal VIP groups, markets, or even singular collectors. These watches are not usually clocked by the mainstream watch media and only surface years after release on forums, blogs, or in person meetups. Such was the case with this, a 100 example limited run of the Platinum Santos Dumont made for Cartier’s best clients in the Middle East. In this case, Cartier went with a bright green for the strap and dial print. Patek Philippe Complications Annual Calendar-5960/1A-001 The Sleeper Watch! The 5960 was first released in 2006 in platinum and it instantly won acclaim as it was the brand’s first automatic in-house chronograph. Then in 2014, Patek released the 5960/1A in stainless steel with a silvered dial. In 2017, Patek released a second version of the 5960/1A sporting an ebony black dial and discontinued both versions of the 5960 in stainless steel a few months later. Zenith Pilot Cronometro Tipo CP-2 Flyback-11.2240.405/21.C773 This is a remake of a 1960s model with a famous Flyback chronograph movement powering it, that was produced for the Italian military. What we have here is a modern interpretation of that form that brings the watch into the modern Pilot collection and adds a few updates. It comes in an aged stainless steel case and utilizes a sapphire casebook instead of the closed steel back and utilizes the grey and green colour schemes which is often found in other Pilot watches. Overall, this is a watch that can stand alone and prove itself on its own merits, a slightly beefy, vintage-inflected military watch that is powered by a legendary El Primero flyback chronograph movement. Very few have been able to achieve such a feat so successfully!

Hamilton American Classic PSR-H52414130 he Hamilton PSR is based on one of the most groundbreaking watches ever made, the Pulsar Time Computer, which was at the time, the worlds first watch with an LED! Originally released in the early 70s, it was both one of the most revolutionary watches and also one of the most expensive! During its peak, it even appeared on the wrist of James Bond (Roger Moore) in Live and Let Die. Unfortunately though, its fame was short lived and was out of production by 1977, with the introduction of LCD watches, which were a fraction of the price.
